Livestock carrier fire, Greece

Fire erupted on board of livestock carrier BOI BRANCO (flag – Togo [TG]) berthed at Piraeus port, Greece. It happened on May 30. Tugs, boats, fire engines and teams were deployed in fire fighting. Fire was extinguished in several hours.

The vessel was in ballast with luckily, no cattle on board, she arrived at Piraeus on May 27 from Jeddah. It’s a livestock carrier, probably cattle feed was on fire. No injures reported.
