Chemical tanker NU SHI NALINI drifted aground at Mormugao, 2 nm of Dona Paula, Goa, western India, after her anchor dragged in stormy weather. It happened on October 24.
She’s unmanned, loaded with some 3,000 tons of naphtha. The vessel arrived at Mormugao in July, on tow, already without crew, and is anchored since that time. She can’t be berthed and offloaded because of some litigation issues. AIS is off since June 2018.
